In my last post, I said I would share some sentences in Korean so today, I'll teach you some basic Korean !
Before starting, you should have some basic knowledge of Korean consonants and vowels. We combine these characters to make words. If it's too difficult for you to study don't stress over it because you can still learn how to say some basic sentences.

안녕하세요 is Hello in Korean ! When we say hello to friends, we just say ' 안녕' .
How to read : 안녕하세요 ( Annyeonghaseyo ) , 'an' is '안' , 'nyeong' is '녕' , 'ha' is '하' , 'se' is '세' and 'yo' is '요'.. When we say '안녕하세요' , (Don't pause between each characters when saying this)
- 안녕 is ' Anneyong'
만나서 반갑습니다 is Nice to meet you.. 'Mannaseobangabseubnida '--- Man na seo ban gab seub ni da
I'll tell you just an easy conversation because there are lots of Korean learning videos on youtube..lol
-- In Korean, there are honorific , and just words for friends , people who are very close or people younger than you .. So ' 안녕하세요' is Honorific and we say this to adults or in formal situations.
'만나서 반갑습니다' is Honorific too and we say '만나서 반가워' to friends .
- Dialog ( to friends )
A : 안녕 , 만나서 반가워 ! ( Anneyong , Mannaseobangawo ! ) -- Hi Nice to meet you !
B : 안녕, 나도 만나서 반가워 ! ( Anneyong, Nado Mannaseobangawo ! )---Hi, Nice to meet you too ! ---------------' 나도' means Me too.
A : 나는 민서야. ( Naneun Minseo ya ) -----I'm Minseo. -- In this sentence, '야' means 'am' .. You can put your name between ' 나는' and '야' .
B : 나는 재윤이야. ( Naneun Jaeyun iya ) I'm Jaeyun. ---- I put '이' next to '재윤' because there is a final consonant in the last letter ' 윤' , 'ㄴ' is the final consonant.
EX) 나는 철수야. ( no final consonant ) , 나는 길동이야. ( final consonant , 'ㅇ' )
Korean language might seem to be difficult at first because there are various ways to say something which they all mean same. But if you keep reading a lot and making sentences, you can do it ! And you know, Korean is very easy to read after you learn the characters.
